Inaugural R-Award for DEI-In-Science 2025 presented by ETH Professor em. Donald Hilvert at the 17th International Symposium on Biocatalysis and Biotransformations in Basel, Switzerland July 2025.
“Roz is proud to award its first DEI-In-Science prize to the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, which conducts outreach in life sciences, medicine, and engineering among girls and young women around the globe including in homeless shelters, refugee camps, and war zones. The association also teaches older sisters, mothers, and grandmothers to supervise and to guide these upcoming young investigators. Each emblem you see above represents a badge of completion and scientific merit, earned by hundreds of thousands of girls aged five to eighteen annually. Roz and Biotrans are deeply honored to have conferred the R-Award for DEI-In-Science 2025 upon the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.”
